Sacred Stories: Shared Stories of Black Birthing Bodies

"We know that Black birthing bodies experience high levels of trauma during perinatal care and have significantly worse birth outcomes than their white counterparts. The Sister Doulas of Uzazi Village invite community members to share their birth stories at the February 1, 2020 Sacred Stories Town Hall.

This town hall will serve as a listening session to uplift the voices and stories of Black birthing bodies. It will also serves as an invitation to join Uzazi's advisory board.
