About the event
KCCI Board Member, Inoru M. Wade, will be discussing policy research around LGBTQIA inclusivity and how being inclusive statistically saves lives. Policy makers from the Kansas City Metro area have been invited and many are expected to be present.
Additionally, there will be a presentation from Synergy Services on the challenges in serving the displaced youth within the LGBTQIA Community. GLSEN Greater Kansas City representatives will also be present handing out the results of the latest Climate Survey in Schools.
There will be networking exercises and an opportunity to be heard.
Join us for an informative evening at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center on Thursday, July 11th from 6-8pm.
